![]() ![]() It is optimized for multiple GPU configurations, including NVIDIA SLI and AMD CrossFireX. The radeon VII is discontinued, and that was the last card, and the best card AMD had that supports Crossfire. The AMD X570 chipset delivers outstanding overclocking capabilities for the latest AMD AM4 socket for 3rd and 2nd Gen AMD Ryzen /2nd and 1st Gen AMD Ryzen with Radeon Vega Graphics Processors. I'm guessing that were going to have to wait until AMD and Nvidia includes profiles for the game in future drivers or the guys at BI add support in a future update or possible in the beta this summer. Amd no longer supports crossfire in any card you would actually want to buy. I used MSI Afterburner 3.0 (beta 9) to monitor GPU loads and have Catalyst 13.1 installed.Įven though both are are rarely recruited at a full load I'd I'm enjoying the increased frame rate, at the very least I'm getting the same FPS as if I was simply using one card, and at best performance is almost double Click on 3D Application settings direclty above the AMD CrossFireX menu option. AMD AM4-socket processors feature dual-channel DDR4 memory, native 10Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 and x16 PCI Express ® 4.0/3.0 lanes for superb performance. Next, ensure that AMD CrossFireX is enabled by expanding the gaming tab on the left hand side of the menu and selecting AMD CrossFireX. The high-performance 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen processors are based on the next-gen 7nm Zen architecture and support up to 16 processor cores. In addition I sometimes noticed flickering when viewing the in game map. First, right click on the desktop and left click on AMD Catalyst Control Center. They have to be the same GPU to be able to crossfire, though cut down versions can work with non or differently cut down versions. When I switched to optimize 1x1 both cards were utilized, but there was a catch: the cards would not run steadily at a 90-100 % load, instead the cards changed constantly between 50 and 100 %. The answer is a resounding no, it will not crossfire. For example, when the setting was set to default my first card was recruited at 90-100 % load. Alright, after a lot of messing around with some custom profiles I've found that switching "AMD CrossFire Mode" to "Optimize 1x1" from "defualt mode" forces the seconds (and presumably 3r and 4th cards) to be recruited in game (see picture below). ![]()
